Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Converse, TX. This contract position offers part-time hours, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 10 students.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff across 5 school sites to promote student success.
  • Implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Utilize voice output communication devices (VOCO) as part of therapy when appropriate.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students.
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and contributing to ARD/IEP meetings.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology, including voice output communication devices.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and with care.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educational teams.

  • Converse, Texas
  • Services provided across 5 school sites within the district.
