Job Description
We are conducting a confidential search for a Chemical / Process Engineer to support heavy industrial projects based out of Birmingham, Alabama. This role will focus on process design, calculations, and technical support for capital and improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Support process engineering and design for industrial systems </li>
<li>Develop and review P&amp;IDs, process calculations, mass balances, and technical documentation</li>
<li>Assist with process studies, optimization efforts, and equipment evaluations </li>
<li>Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and project teams </li>
<li>Support project execution and technical problem-solving </li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5–20 years of chemical or process engineering experience </li>
<li>Industrial or process manufacturing background preferred </li>
<li>Experience with P&amp;IDs, engineering calculations, WinGEMS, Aspen, or similar tools </li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required</li>
