Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join a mid-sized property management company in Torrance, California. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to a stable and collaborative team environment. The role involves managing essential financial tasks within an organized framework, ensuring accuracy and reliability in day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring employees are compensated correctly and on schedule.
• Provide general accounting support when required to assist the team.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff to resolve inquiries and maintain strong relationships.• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations is essential.
• Familiarity with payroll processing is preferred.
• Experience in property management accounting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AppFolio software is a plus but not mandatory.
• Competence in QuickBooks is acceptable, with prior employees transitioning successfully.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to reliability.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small office environment and adapt to various tasks as needed.
