Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Enter vouchers and post invoices accurately into the accounting system

Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors

Process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers in a timely manner

Reconcile account discrepancies and manage overhead expense entries

Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate 1099 documentation
Requirements:
-
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
-
Report to the AP Supervisor and collaborate with a team of seven accounting professionals

Understand chargebacks, overhead expenses, and vendor compliance procedures

Support a multi-entity organization with offices across different states and internationally

Apply analytical skills to resolve payment issues and improve AP processes
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment

Handle over 500 invoices per week with strong attention to detail and efficiency

Use MAS90/200/500 and Sage (MAS 500) software effectively; Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency required

Work well in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and time management skills

Show a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
