Job Description

LUV Car Wash was founded in Sept of 2021, and we have rapidly grown to over 70 locations in 6 states, including CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are looking to add an Assistant General Manager to our growing team to help us continue our mission to become the best car wash in the industry.


The Regional Service Manager will oversee maintenance operations for CA and NV.

General Summary of Duties:


The Regional Service Manager (RSM) plans, directs, and supervises skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled trade personnel to effectively complete activities related to daily operations, including repairs, maintenance, and security/safety, for a designated region of LUV Car Wash locations. The RSM is responsible for hiring, training, developing, and managing the effectiveness of the maintenance team. This role serves as the subject matter expert on maintenance and ensures the efficient operation of facilities through proactive problem-solving and the implementation of organized systems and processes. Ensures Maintenance Techs and Maintenance Leads properly follow proper repair and safety.


Reports to: National Director of Facilities


Supervises: Maintenance Technicians


FLSA Status: Exempt


Essential Functions:


  1. Travels up to 70% of the time to train and oversee site maintenance
  2. Develop and train the LUV Car Wash facilities maintenance team to meet quality standards and financial R&M targets.
  3. Works with stores to ensure the company meets downtime targets for each store in the region.
  4. Maintain car quality standards across the region and promptly resolve any unresolved chemistry issues in collaboration with LUV’s chemical supplier.
  5. Manage tech effectiveness to ensure work orders are completed within allotted time frames and specifications and that the quality of work performed is up to the LUV standard.
  6. Develops both service technicians and maintenance leads to ensure they are building their skills and progressing their career within LUV.
  7. Oversee the integration of acquired locations, collaborating with various functional team leads and the corporate ops team.
  8. Manage departmental metrics, including utilization, hours per work order, variance to estimated work order time, work order completion, and driving score.
  9. Develop and track SLAs by repair type for effective monitoring and reporting.
  10. Ensure 100% completion of rebrand scope at locations going through rebrand and finalize major capital decisions before payment to vendors.
  11. Manage all assets within the facilities department, including vehicles and tools.
  12. Develop and manage a robust preventative maintenance schedule executed by Maintenance Leads and Maintenance Technicians.
  13. Implement and track systems to minimize significant capital R&M investments.
  14. Hire, train, and manage the maintenance technician team to deliver necessary utilization standards.
  15. Foster a positive working environment between operations and maintenance.
  16. Monitor locations to ensure they meet LUV standards for facilities and grounds.
  17. Perform other duties as requested or needed.





Physical Demands: The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see clearly and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds or more, work in extreme weather, and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.


Education: High School degree required


Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of car wash facility repair and maintenance experience required.


Requirements:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

- Expert knowledge of car wash equipment and chemistry, including installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration.

- Experience in establishing and executing policies and procedures.

- Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel as needed.


Salary Range: $90-$115K
