Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
• Experience teaching or supporting student learning in grades K–5, 6–8, and/or 9–12
• Strong working knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and instructional techniques to suit individual needs
• Dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with ongoing plan development and documentation
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
• Provide behavioral management, emotional support, and accommodations as needed
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student independence
