Position Overview
As a School-Based Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with general education staff, support services, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs that promote student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
- Provide differentiated instruction based on student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support positive behavior interventions and classroom management strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Active Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

- Schedule: Full-time, school-based hours
