Position Title: Voter Hotline (Spanish)
Location: Sacramento, California 95814
Duration: 2 months
Work Schedule:
- Regular Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Election Day & Day Before: 6:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Answering/returning live calls from voters regarding voting rights, polling locations, vote‐by‐mail, and election procedures.
- Transcribing voicemail messages and performing follow‐up communication.
- Organizing and lifting boxes as needed.
- Maintaining a professional, non‐partisan demeanor when interacting with voters.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Familiarity with general office procedures and exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to answer high‐volume live calls after training.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using the internet, phone systems, and office equipment.
- Business‐casual dress, ability to sit/stand for long periods.
- Personal responsibility for transportation/parking.
Additional Requirements
- Must be proficient in English, with strong proficiency in both languages to support voter inquiries effectively.
- Spanish (Bilingual)
