Salary Range: $78,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the development and maintenance of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
  • Conduct internal process, product, and system audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer specific requirements.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for internal and external non-conformances using methodologies like 8D.
  • Participate in APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and PPAP submission for new and modified products.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality metrics (e.g., scrap, rework, PPM) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure stable and capable manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements (CSRs) throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standard.
  • Proficiency in core automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  • Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
  • Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Experience with other industry-specific quality standards (e.g., VDA, AS9100, ISO 13485).
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor Certification.
