Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Service
Position Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive Nuclear Medicine services at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, Florida. The physician will support diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services in collaboration with radiology, cardiology, oncology, and other clinical services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

General Nuclear Medicine
-
SPECT/CT imaging and interpretation
-
Nuclear Cardiology
-
Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
-
EKG interpretation
-
Myocardial perfusion imaging
-
MUGA studies
-
Myocardial viability assessments
-
PET/CT Imaging
-
Oncologic, neurologic, and infection/inflammation indications
-
Nuclear Medicine Therapy
-
Treatment of hyperthyroidism
-
Treatment of thyroid cancer
Salary
$360,000 – $385,000 per year
(Actual salary determined through formal VA pay-setting process)
