Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services within a school setting, supporting students' developmental and functional needs. The role involves traveling to multiple school locations to deliver direct therapy, collaborate with educators, and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to enhance students' participation and performance in educational activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
- Travel between schools as required to fulfill caseload responsibilities
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites
