Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working within K-12 schools in the North Las Vegas area. This contract position extends through the current school year, providing a chance to support diverse student populations across multiple assignments. The caseload and specific school locations will vary depending on assignment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to support student progress and instructional strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed.
- Eligible candidates include those with SLP Clinical Fellowship status; preference given to those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Active Nevada Department of Education certification and NV SLP license are required.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Commitment to on-site full-time work; virtual or part-time arrangements are not accepted.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in schools throughout the Las Vegas area, Nevada.
- Full-time hours are required with assignments typically lasting until May 22, 2026.
