Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Saint Paul, MN, through a contract position. This role supports both general and special education students at Westwood Intermediate, serving grades 5-8. The assignment is a Long-Term Substitute (LTS) position running from March through June 2026, offering valuable experience in authentic school speech-language pathology.
Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and delivering speech-language services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs). The role requires creativity in therapy planning and strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively.
Qualifications include:
- A Masters (M.A./M.S.) or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated creative planning and organizational abilities
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
This position is also open to Clinical Fellows who are eager to gain practical experience in school-based speech-language pathology, with support provided throughout the contract term.
