Position: Assistant Director of Nursing
Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility located in Ripon, WI. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to administer the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility.
The ADON is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Responsibilities:
- This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
- Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
- Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
- Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
- Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
Education and/or Experience:
- Licensed Registered Nurse with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
- Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
- 3 years experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
- Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
- Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
