Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a reputable outpatient primary care practice in Southbury, CT. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a rewarding opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Job Setting:

Join a well-established outpatient clinic that prioritizes continuity of care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management. The practice features a modern facility, experienced clinical support, and a strong focus on work-life balance. No inpatient or hospital rounding required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary care services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Conduct annual physicals, sick visits, chronic disease management, and wellness counseling

• Collaborate with a team of NPs, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient care delivery

• Utilize EHR to maintain accurate documentation and care coordination

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical protocols

• Foster strong relationships with patients and their families to support long-term health goals

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active or eligible Connecticut medical license

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-focused care

• Previous outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
