Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Spanish-English) to support students across Illinois during the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, school-based role is perfect for a caring and motivated professional who is passionate about helping multilingual students overcome communication barriers and succeed both academically and socially.
As part of the student support team, you will deliver individualized speech therapy, conduct assessments, and contribute to the development of IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs. You’ll collaborate regularly with families, educators, and school staff to provide culturally responsive and consistent services that empower bilingual learners.
This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek for the duration of the school year, with the possibility of contract renewal based on performance. Ongoing professional development through district-led training will also be available to help you continue growing in your role.
RequirementsCandidates must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, and possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license prior to the start of the assignment. Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively support diverse student populations. While ASHA certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
