Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact working with young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist delivering itinerant preschool early intervention services across Carbon and Lehigh counties. This contract-based opportunity supports flexibility and professional growth, allowing you to work with students from PreK through 12th grade as assignments evolve. With the assignment running through the 2026-27 school year, you'll experience the satisfaction of seeing your meaningful efforts support children’s communication and development.
What You Bring:
- Current Pennsylvania SLP licensure and educator credentials (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based or early childhood settings preferred
- Adaptable mindset able to support both preschoolers and school-age students
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
What You’ll Do:
- Provide itinerant speech-language services to preschool students in early intervention across Carbon or Lehigh County
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy to address students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary educational teams for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with program requirements
- Adapt to changing caseloads and settings, including the possibility of serving students from preschool through high school as needed
