Customer Service Representative (Logistics/3PL)
Job Description
Duties:
Liaising directly with clients and warehouse personnel. Pass purchase orders to warehouse lead and supervisor for processing. Ensure purchase orders are prepared and shipped in accordance with vendor guidelines. Route shipments by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time in compliance with vendor guidelines. Prepare BOL's, ensure manifest. Verify merchandise shipped by matching bills of landing, reconciling quantities, nothing discrepancies. Keeps customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date and method and status; answering questions. Checking and confirming order status on pick up and delivers. Coordinate and expedite requests, time specific pick-ups and deliveries and other special requests. PLUS : EDI processing, including but not limited to order cycle, transportation/logistics management, warehouse fulfillment and finance.
Qualifications
* MUST have 2 years of experience in the shipping industry or distribution center.
* PLUS to know how to route shipments in various vendor portals and process UPS/FedEx shipping labels.
Keys to hire - routing experience, excellent work ethics, excellent at multi-tasking and working with pressing deadlines
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8a - 5p
Pay: $22 - 25/hr
