Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with prospective customers, educating them on our services, and closing sales to grow our customer base in the Hot Springs area. This is a field-based role that combines consultative selling, territory management, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities

Prospect for new customers through door-to-door canvassing, cold calling, networking, and community events.

Follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns or internal sources.

Conduct lawn evaluations and needs assessments at customer properties.

Prepare, present, and negotiate customized service proposals (e.g., fertilization, weed control, disease and insect programs, tree and shrub programs).

Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system.

Coordinate with the operations/service teams to schedule service visits and ensure customer satisfaction.

Educate customers on proper lawn care practices and the benefits of Lawn Doctor’s programs.

Provide ongoing follow-up to maintain high customer retention.

Represent Lawn Doctor professionally in all customer interactions — maintaining a clean, well-branded vehicle, and wearing company apparel.

Participate in regular sales training, meetings, and performance reviews.
Qualifications

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a service-based industry (home services, lawn care, pest control, etc.).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Basic computer skills and experience with CRM software or willingness to learn.

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree in business is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed, and conduct field visits.
