  • Maintain a professional, level temperament in a stressful or high-volume environment.
  • Take on additional assignments as needed to support production and other departments.
  • Stay current with required certifications and training for the role and apply new work requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Consistently complete assignments on time without compromising quality, using time effectively to manage workload and meet individual throughput goals.
  • Keep supervisors informed of progress and promptly escalate issues or concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain attention to detail and follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures in the manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • Basic experience in production, assembly, or a related manufacturing environment (one or more years preferred, but open to entry-level candidates).
  • Foundational electronic assembly skills, including through-hole or surface mount soldering experience, are strongly preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, or similar documentation.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including navigating internal programs, using basic Excel for documentation, and Outlook for communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work plans, priorities, and leadership direction.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a structured, routine environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to maintain composure and a level temperament in a fast-paced or stressful environment.
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions and work under close supervision.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift and frequently reach at waist level.

  • Familiarity with quality initiatives and continuous improvement practices, such as 5S.
  • Demonstrated desire to progress and build a long-term career in a manufacturing environment.
  • History of meeting individual throughput or productivity goals in prior roles.
  • Experience working in environments that require adherence to strict quality policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to take on additional assignments as needed.
