Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Job Title:Elementary K-4 Special Education Teacher
Location:Minnetrista, MN
Schedule: Monday - Friday contracted by school hours
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K4. This role focuses on providing small-group instruction in reading and math while managing a caseload of approximately 1015 students. The teacher will also be responsible for overseeing and completing their own student evaluations.
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction in small-group reading and math settings

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Manage case files and oversee all aspects of assigned students evaluations

Independently conduct and complete evaluations for assigned students

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience working with students with K-4 preferred
