Title: Registered Nurse – Trauma Operating Room
Location: Miami, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time | Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Employment Type: Permanent Opportunity
Compensation: $39.57/hr – $53.34/hr (Based on experience; up to 17+ years considered)
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse – Trauma Operating Room is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced perioperative environment. This role involves collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiology teams, and OR staff to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes for trauma patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to trauma patients in the Operating Room
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members
- Follow established hospital protocols, trauma standards, and perioperative guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or Compact RN License
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS certification (required or obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS certification (required or obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Trauma Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital
- Recent hands-on Trauma OR experience required
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility due to on-call requirements
