WHO is Sound Generations?
We are a comprehensive non-profit organization that serves older adults and people with disabilities in King County. Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.
We are currently seeking a Client Services Representative I to join our Meals on Wheels team in Seattle, Washington.
What will YOU do?
As a Meals on Wheels Client Services Representative I, you will call participants for their weekly orders, respond to program inquiries and requests, conduct assessments to determine applicant eligibility, and complete other daily office duties to support the program. You’ll belong to a team committed to helping homebound older adults maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
Pay Rate: $24.60 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (8am-4:30pm).

Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine program questions and provide information on how to access agency services. Screen and assess the individual's needs. Connect with appropriate resources.
- Assist clients and the community by providing organization interpretation on policies and procedures. Provide explanations on forms, pamphlets and other materials.
- Communicate clearly, efficiently, and compassionately using phones, computers, and other web-based programs.
- Use computer applications and software to document and track client information, issues, and other related follow-ups or activities.
- May assist with processing payment for services and applying agency cash handling policies.
- May provide administrative support for the program or department to achieve efficient use of information, equipment, and resources.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma OR Equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year call taking and/or customer service experience.
