Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a contract position serving a K-12 school district in Petaluma, CA. This role focuses primarily on working with students from preschool through 2nd grade but supports the full K-12 population. The position requires onsite presence with additional support from other SLP and SLPA staff.
Key Details:
- Contract duration from ASAP start through June 4th, 2026
- 35 to 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Work sites to be assigned within the district
- Age group served: K-12 students, majority preschool to 2nd grade
- Onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school district policies
- Participate in meetings and consultations as needed to support student goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure appropriate for school setting
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially younger children (PS2nd grade)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and document progress effectively
- Commitment to onsite work and team collaboration
