Bookkeeper for Music Venue, Brewery & Nonprofit – Flexible Hours
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to manage the finances for three entities:
· A music venue with a bar and restaurant
· A craft brewery
· A community-focused nonprofit organization
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves variety and can handle multi-entity bookkeeping with accuracy and efficiency. Looking for 20-30hr/week to start with capability to transition to full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for three separate entities in QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
- Handle payroll processing for multiple teams
- Manage sales tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare monthly financial reports for owners and nonprofit board
- Track donations, grants, and restricted funds for the nonprofit
- Assist with annual budget planning and audit preparation
Requirements:
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
· 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
· Understanding of alcohol and food industry tax compliance
· Knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
