Job Title: Vintage Buyer
About Us:
Grab & Go MRKT + Arkollab is a unique retail and wholesale business specializing in curated vintage fashion. We are looking for a Vintage Picker to help source high-quality clothing for our store and wholesale clients. This role requires someone with a strong eye for fashion, an understanding of market trends, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure vintage clothing from various suppliers based on store and wholesale client needs.
- Travel regularly between suppliers, warehouses, and storage locations.
- Assess the quality, style, and authenticity of vintage pieces to align with brand standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and inventory selection.
- Lift, transport, and organize large quantities of clothing, often in warehouse settings.
- Work efficiently to meet inventory demands in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Assist in tracking purchases, inventory levels, and product flow to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the team to identify trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vintage buying, fashion sourcing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of vintage fashion, fabrics, and current market trends.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs) on a regular basis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions on sourcing trips.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between suppliers frequently.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Requires ability to lift, stand, and move inventory for extended periods in challenging climate conditions. Adaptability to physically demanding work is essential.
