Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and hot stone (depending on certification).
- Assess client needs and tailor each session for relaxation, recovery, or therapeutic benefit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil workspace in accordance with Virginia Board of Massage Therapy regulations.
- Educate clients on aftercare, stretching, and wellness habits.
- Work collaboratively with other beauty and wellness professionals to enhance the client experience.
Requirements
- Current Virginia Massage Therapy license (or in process).
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for client wellness and holistic self-care.
- Willingness to learn training and support provided.
