Job Description

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) is sought to provide specialized behavioral support within an elementary school setting located in Monroe, NC. This contract role offers full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) from ASAP through June 5th, 2026, supporting approximately 12 students in a CBSS Specialized Setting Classroom.

Responsibilities:

Deliver overall behavior and routine support to a specialized classroom of elementary students.
Provide occasional 1:1 assistance as needed.
Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and two teaching assistants to implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
Monitor and document student progress and behavior consistently.
Support positive classroom environment and maintain safety and engagement for all students.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or equivalent Behavior Technician qualification.
Prior experience working with children in educational or behavioral support settings preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with school staff.
Ability to manage multiple students and routines within a classroom setting.
Commitment to fostering a supportive, structured learning environment.
