Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour shifts, days (7:00 am 7:30 pm)
- Weekend and holiday rotations required
- No call responsibilities
- Floating available across multiple hospital campuses as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the progressive care/stepdown unit managing cardiac conditions
- Manage peripheral and PICC lines, titrate drips, and interpret dysrhythmias with precision
- Administer cardiac telemetry monitoring, ensuring timely recognition and response to cardiac events
- Adhere to established protocols for patient safety, compliance, and hospital standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of experience in stepdown or progressive care units
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Proven expertise in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, peripheral and PICC line care
- Comfortable with floating across different hospital units and campuses
- Strong communication skills and flexibility with work schedule
