Now Hiring: PRN Delivery Driver (Full-Time Temporary, $18/hr)

Join our team supporting patient care across Eastern Iowa! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PRN Delivery Driver to work full-time (8–12 weeks) delivering medical supplies and medications. This role starts at $18.00/hour with the potential (not guaranteed) to transition into a regular full-time position based on business needs and your performance.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Clerk assists with the accurate preparation of patient supply and medication orders and ensures their timely delivery to patient homes.

Position Responsibilities

Accurately ship/deliver medication and supplies as scheduled utilizing the most effective method of delivery while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Package and ship supplies and medications according to temperature and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate delivery records for individual patients and ensure patient/caregiver signature and date are obtained.
Order supplies as necessary.
Retrieves medications, supplies, and equipment at the UIHC pharmacy as needed.
Cleans returned equipment according to established guidelines.
Deliver patient orders locally and across the state of Iowa.
Participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills.
Must have a good driving record.
Driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Some experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Healthcare experience a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve warehouse goals.
Adaptability and willingness to adjust to changes in inventory and workflows.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push 85 lbs.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Lift, bend, push, pull, twist, and reach.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

Successful completion of a background check.
Successful completion of reference checks.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Expected Work Hours and Location

Generally, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Days and hours are subject to change with notice.
