Job Description
Job Summary: The Growth Marketing Lead will be responsible for driving growth and achieving business objectives for TheBar.com in the US, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and upsell. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and product development and will be accountable for delivering growth targets across various digital channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead strategy and day-to-day operations of client's precision and growth marketing function • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Product Management, Data/Analytics, and Brand Marketing teams to execute growth initiatives • Partner with the internal data & analytics team to ensure the right data infrastructure is in place for user behavior analysis and rapid experimentation • Define TheBar.com's growth plan, and execute campaigns that deliver on business goals, optimizing across tactics for best results • Develop a scorecard to track progress against growth objectives and business goals • Implement, track, and optimize digital campaigns across platforms, working with media agencies and data specialists for execution • Provide consumer insights by blending performance data with user needs, habits, and perceptions through design thinking • Create clear briefs for internal and external stakeholders/agencies, outlining goals, KPIs, and test-and-learn plans • Partner with Product Management and Brand Marketing to optimize the digital consumer journey across all touchpoints
Required Qualifications: • At least 6-7 years of experience in a growth marketing role at a DTC brand, preferably a startup • Proven track record of building and leading dynamic, driven teams in agile sprints with successful performance outcomes • Experience with design thinking and a consumer-first mindset when solving problems and building products/campaigns • Strong understanding of emerging trends in marketing and consumption; adaptable to rapidly changing environments • Ability to manage a large volume of projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines • Passion for the company mission to help people celebrate life, every day!
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the consumer goods or e-commerce industry • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies
