A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential services to preschool students across multiple daycare locations within a school district in La Fayette, GA. This maternity leave contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on early childhood communication development in diverse educational settings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy to approximately 13 PreK students with IEPs, alongside managing case documentation and compliance.
  • Serving an itinerant caseload across 4-5 daycare sites, requiring travel within the district (onsite services only).
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports aligned with district and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) SLP Educator Certificate.
  • Previous school-based experience, with PreK or early childhood expertise highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to engage with educators, caregivers, and students.

Position Details:

  • Location: La Fayette, GA.
  • Contract duration: Approximately December 22, 2025, through April 6, 2026 (with some flexibility for transition).
  • Schedule: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week).
  • Service model: Itinerant PreK onsite therapy.
