Job Title: Operations Clerk II / Operations Support Associate
Location: Houston, TX, 77032
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extensions)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22 – $25.00/hour on w2.

Position Overview
The Operations Clerk II / Operations Support Associate plays a key role in supporting sales and branch operations through administrative coordination, data management, and customer issue resolution. This role ensures the accuracy of contracts, billing, invoicing, and operational documentation while collaborating across multiple teams and business units.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong ERP system experience, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administrative Support
- Support daily operational activities for branch and service center functions
- Assist Operations Managers and Supervisors with documentation, reporting, and workflow coordination
- Help implement operational policies, procedures, and business strategies
Data Management & Analysis
- Review, analyze, and cleanse operational and customer data
- Perform exception reporting for non-compliant purchase orders
- Identify discrepancies and independently research and resolve issues
Order Management & Billing
- Create and process orders for quoted jobs and installations using ERP systems (SAP)
- Submit invoices through vendor portals and ensure billing accuracy
- Support customer master data workflows and system updates
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams, external customers, and third-party vendors
- Resolve issues from third-party order processors
- Provide on-site operational support as needed
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma + 2–5 years of relevant experience
OR - Bachelor’s Degree with relevant administrative/operations experience
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM or Field Service tools (e.g., MS Dynamics, MS Field Service)
- Experience in operations, sales support, or administrative roles
- Exposure to order processing, invoicing, or billing operations
