Requirements Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is looking for a Locum PA to assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery.Practice Setting: Inpatient ORTrauma Level: Level 2Patient Population: AdultSchedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Call Schedule: Varies rotationalCall Ratio: 1:4Average Patient Volume: 4–8 patients per dayAPP Autonomy: NoSupervision Details: Physician present in the ORPrimary Duty: Assist in surgeryEMR System: EpicBoard Certification Required: NCCPAState License Required Prior to Assignment: Yes no pending licenses acceptedExperience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year Cardiothoracic OR experience required no new graduates accepted robotic experience preferred but not requiredRequired Procedures: Central venous and dialysis catheter placement arterial line and intra?aortic balloon pump placement retrieval of vascular tissue for bypass conduit endoscopic retrieval chest tube insertions thoracentesis ACLS amp BLS through AHA- REQUIREDEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days Henry Ford does not reimburse for background checksHenry Ford does not reimburse for application or credentialing fees.Perm Placement/Conversion Fee Requirement: APP: 16kLocum to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees: NP/PA: 160-319 hours = 2500 reduction 320-639 hours = 3500 reduction 640hours = 4500 reduction Regardless of number of hours a NP/PA has worked reduction will not exceed 4500 Call back hours: 8-12 hour shift 2 hours gratis included 24 hour shift 4 hours gratis included
