Group Lead assists in coordinating and monitoring activities of department personnel. Perform warehouse functions as appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in scheduling personnel and problem resolution as appropriate..
• Assist in determining work procedures, delegate work, and expedite workflow as appropriate.
• Assist in monitoring productivity of warehouse personnel.
• Assist in training warehouse personnel on new or existing ISO 9001 and company standards.
• Research and solve warehouse stock problems.
• Coach and counsel personnel concerning productivity, quality and other department related issues as appropriate.
• Complete and maintain ISO 9001 and company documentation and reports as appropriate.
• Perform warehouse functions such as pick/pack, receiving, locating, or shipping as required.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to all ISO 9001 related standards.
• Complies with all safety policies and reports any safety issues immediately to a manager.
• All other duties/ responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management.
• Displays behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values.
SKILLS:
• Previous group lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively explain department jobs to personnel of varying skill and experience levels.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 procedures and documentation requirements for warehouse.
• Strong math, reading, and clerical skills.
• Excellent prioritization and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently toward general results.
• Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language
• Can effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc).
• Successfully comprehends business materials written in English ( job assignments, instructions, etc).
Ability to learn cGMP requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on cGMP service lines.
Ability to learn PDMA requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on Prescription Drug service lines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/GED
Heavy lifting to 80 lbs.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years warehouse experience.
