Locum CRNA – Middlebury, Vermont
(Maternity Leave Coverage | Independent Practice | Rural Hospital)

Assignment Details

• Coverage Dates: 5/1/26 – 9/30/26

• Number of Providers Needed: 1

• Schedule: Four 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call Coverage:

• Weekdays: End of OR schedule until 7:00 AM next day

• Weekends: End of OR schedule Friday until 7:00 AM Monday

• Coverage Focus: Independent practice with OB and general procedures

• Shift Setting: 25-bed rural critical access hospital

  Clinical Responsibilities

  • Procedures Covered:

  • General anesthesia

  • MAC

  • Regional (spinals)

  • Labor epidurals

• Service Areas: General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Ortho, GI Endoscopy, Ophthalmology (cataracts)

• Team Model: Team-based with one MD anesthesiologist and 5 CRNAs; collaborative support for on-call questions and complex cases

• EMR: Epic

  Requirements

  • Board Status: NBCRNA

  • License: Active Vermont CRNA license required

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

  • Experience: Comfort with independent practice and obstetrical care
