Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Specialist who enjoys being out on the plant sites and partnering with teams to create a safer workplace. This role will support the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), help manage workplace injuries from reporting through resolution, and deliver engaging safety training. You’ll regularly visit plant sites, identify risks, and help turn safety programs into everyday habits, not just policies on paper.
What You’ll Do
- Support and maintain the IIPP and safety compliance efforts
- Assist with injury reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions
- Conduct safety training, orientations, and ongoing education
- Perform plant site walk-throughs, inspections, and audits
- Help build, implement, and improve safety programs across locations
