Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Registered Nurse with ICU experience is needed for a full-time position in Fort Wainwright, AK. This role requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week, including three weekend shifts per schedule period. The schedule also involves on-call duties and occasional floating as a functional nurse. Immediate availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, addressing physical, psychological, social, and cultural needs.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care and discharge plans.
- Monitor diagnostics and lab results, promptly reporting abnormalities to physicians and caregivers.
- Perform reassessments to ensure ongoing patient needs are met according to established policies.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to achieve realistic and measurable patient care goals.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.
