Job DescriptionEmployment Consultant
New Horizons is looking for an Employment Consultant to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. A Career Coach will work with the individual(s) with exploring personal interests to discover possible career goals, assisting with applying and interviewing, securing transportation to and from work, and assisting with on-site task completion.
A successful Employment Consultant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The Employment Consultant will need to utilize problem solving, time management, and organizational skills while working with the individual(s) they support.
Employment Consultants make a positive difference in the life of the individual(s) and the community.
Job Qualifications
- Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
- High School Diploma required; 4 years higher education preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
Additional Information

- Background report and driving record required
- TB test required
