Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, partnerships, and various corporate entities. This position is integral to our mission of providing exceptional tax services and ensuring our clients' tax obligations are managed effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
  • Develop tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families, with a focus on trusts and estates.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and guidelines for various entities, including non-profits and fiduciary entities.
  • Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues, including partnership tax and real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial situations and offer tailored tax solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support in tax preparation and compliance processes.
  • Review and analyze new tax legislation and its impact on clients' tax strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed tax reports and findings to clients and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree or LLM is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in public accounting or professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
