Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry advancements.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any changes.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve treatment effectiveness.

• Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment.

• Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.

• Contribute to team meetings and share insights for improvement.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited institution.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

• Proven experience administering radiation therapy in a clinical setting.

• Experience in utilizing performance metrics to improve treatment outcomes.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and radiation regulations compliance.

• Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.

• Ability to monitor patient responses and report changes effectively.

• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Willingness to contribute insights during team meetings for improvement.

• Strong problem-solving skills to assist in developing departmental policies.
