Position: Physical Therapist Location: Newark, DE 19713
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Overview: A pediatric skilled nursing facility seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for medically fragile children in a supportive, home-like environment without billing pressures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Evaluate and treat children with mobility, neuromuscular, and gross motor disorders</li>
<li>Manage and recommend specialized rehabilitation equipment (wheelchairs, gait trainers, orthoses)</li>
<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, families, and vendors for optimal patient outcomes</li>
<li>Educate caregivers and supervise PTAs/therapy aides</li>
<li>Complete documentation to ensure continuity of care</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy</li>
<li>Active (or eligible) Delaware PT license</li>
<li>Minimum 1-year pediatric experience preferred; experience with medically fragile care highly valued</li>
