Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Advanced Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. The role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to read blueprints to ensure that specifications are met accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise machining of parts.
- Perform precision measurements to verify the accuracy of machined components.
- Program CNC machines using G-Code and optimize machining processes for efficiency.
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Select and install the appropriate tools and fixtures for each machining assignment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining techniques and processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist with advanced skills in CNC programming and operation.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and precision measurement tools.
- Proficiency in G-Code programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with various machining techniques and metalworking processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in machining preferred.
