We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Controller Consultant to join our client's team in New York City. This role is hybrid on-site 4 days/week! This is long-term consulting with opportunity for consulting-to-hire. Healthcare industry experience is required! Familiarity with Medicaid billing practices is helpful.
This role is essential to ensuring the proper management, organization, and accuracy of critical documentation within a non-profit environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and expertise in document control and scanning processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management and organization of documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Implement and maintain document scanning procedures for efficient recordkeeping.
• Review and verify scanned documents for compliance with organizational standards.
• Compile and categorize documents to streamline retrieval and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve document control systems and workflows.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information during document handling.
• Generate reports and summaries based on compiled documentation.
• Ensure adherence to established guidelines and regulations for document management.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on document scanning and control practices.
• Proven experience in document control and management.
• Proficiency in document scanning technologies and software.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to compile, categorize, and maintain large volumes of documentation.
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to document handling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a non-profit setting is a plus.
