Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing and engineering innovation, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its Research & Development operations. This role requires a proactive finance professional with strong analytical skills, energy, and drive to partner with both project teams and plant operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Analyze financial and operational performance, providing insight across project accounting and manufacturing environments.
  • Administer and enhance accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective user support.
  • Lead month-end processes, including invoicing, labor reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage inventory accounting, including oversight of standard costing updates.
  • Support capital appropriation requests and fixed asset reporting.
  • Extract and synthesize data into actionable reports for leadership.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects aimed at process improvements.
  • Contribute to corporate tax submissions at quarterly and annual cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements (Sarbanes-Oxley).


Qualifications


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting roles within manufacturing.
  • U.S. work authorization (visa sponsorship not available).


Preferred

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • MBA or advanced business education.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
  • Experience with cost accounting and database queries.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
