Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week (option to request 48)
- 13-week assignment with bi-weekly orientation starts (5/4 or 5/18)
- Three weekends every six weeks; every other holiday
Desired Qualifications:
- Active compact RN license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification (must be submitted with application)
- Minimum 2 years strong Med/Surg experience; 1 completed travel assignment; trauma II experience required
- Recent EPIC charting experience (checkoff class required)
- Solid remote telemetry, chest tubes, PEG/NG tubes, cath/Foley, ostomies, blood product administration, Heparin drips, PCA management skills
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, effective communication, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to med/surg patient population
- Float within skillset to nearby campuses as needed (with advance notice)
- Collaborate with a supportive team and potentially precept students or new hires in a teaching hospital environment
