Summary

Isle of Hope Baptist is looking for someone to work in our Elementary after school program. Applicant will have to be able to drive a 15-passenger van. Job hours are from 2:30 until 6:00PM. Applicant must care for children until their parents pick them up. Applicant will be required to maintain a well-balanced atmosphere for all children. Applicant can work longer hours in our Childcare Center if desired (Up to 40 hours per week).

Duties

The after school teacher will drive a 15 passenger van to pick the students up from 2 schools. Once they return to our facility the teacher will serve snack, plan activities, and take the children outside until parents arrive. Teacher will be responsible for cleaning up the classroom daily, and taking out the trash.

Requirements

The right applicant will need Childcare credentials. It can be a CDA, an Associates degree, or higher. Applicant will also need to have valid CPR training and take online classes that pertain to working with elementary aged students. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

A love for children, able to relate well with kids of different ages, communicate well with parents, and good organizational skills are a plus.
