We are an established construction staffing company based in Tampa with over 30 years in business and a national footprint supporting projects across 48 states. Our home office team of 28+ professionals plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly, and we are adding a key contributor to our Accounting and HR team.
The Role
This is a full time, in office position with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You will own both sides of the ledger - driving collections and cash flow on AR while maintaining accuracy and organization on AP.
This role is best suited for someone who prefers to take ownership of their work, stay ahead of issues, and manage priorities without needing constant direction. You will be trusted to run your lane and keep things moving.
In addition to AR and AP, you will be cross-trained in:
- Payroll support
- Workers Compensation coordination
- General HR and administrative functions
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 10 years of combined AR and AP experience in a mid-sized company
- Strong collections experience and confidence handling payment conversations
- Solid AP experience with strong attention to detail
- Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and does not let things sit
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
- Exposure to workers compensation, especially in construction or multi state environments
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary range: $57,000 to $65,000+ depending on experience
- Full time, in office role
- Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to work any 8-hour schedule between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
