Wedding & Event Videographer – Charlotte, NC

Location: Charlotte, NC & Surrounding Areas
Position: Part-Time / Event-Based Videographer
Pay: $400 per event
Schedule: Primarily Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
Editing Required: No — we handle all editing!

Complete Weddings + Events – Charlotte is looking for talented, dependable, and creative videographers to join our growing wedding and event team.
If you love capturing real emotions, beautiful details, packed dance floors, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, this could be a great fit for you.
The best part? You do not have to edit the footage.
You simply arrive prepared, professionally capture the event according to our standards, and submit your raw footage afterward. Our editing team handles post-production.
What You’ll Do
As one of our videographers, you’ll:
- Film weddings and special events throughout the Charlotte area
- Capture important moments including getting ready, first looks, ceremonies, vows, speeches, first dances, reception moments, and candid interactions
- Capture clean, usable audio throughout the event
- Film venue details, décor, florals, rings, invitations, and other important details
- Capture cinematic B-roll and candid footage that helps tell the couple’s story
- Work professionally alongside our photographers, DJs, coordinators, and other wedding vendors
- Follow the event timeline and Complete Weddings + Events filming standards
- Upload and submit all raw footage following the event
No editing is required.
We want you focused on what you do best: showing up, shooting great footage, and capturing the story of the day.
Compensation
$400 per event
This is an event-based position, not an hourly position.
Most assignments are weddings and special events scheduled on weekends. Event length and coverage expectations will be communicated when assignments are offered.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for videographers who:
- Have wedding, event, or professional videography experience
- Own and understand how to operate professional video equipment
- Have a strong understanding of composition, exposure, white balance, frame rates, and audio
- Know how to capture both cinematic footage and documentary-style moments
- Are comfortable working in fast-moving wedding environments
- Are dependable and arrive early and fully prepared
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and our office team
- Can work independently while also being part of a larger wedding team
- Have reliable transportation
- Are available primarily on weekends
- Can travel throughout Charlotte and surrounding areas for events
Equipment Requirements
Videographers must own and provide their own professional equipment.
Your setup should include:
- Professional mirrorless or DSLR camera capable of high-quality video
- Quality lenses appropriate for weddings and low-light environments
- Tripod and/or monopod
- Stabilizer/gimbal when appropriate
- Professional audio recording equipment
- On-camera or portable lighting
- Multiple batteries
- Multiple memory cards
- Backup equipment whenever possible
You must be comfortable operating your equipment without assistance while working in changing lighting and event conditions.
