Responsibilities:
· Process payroll through third party.
· Process Accounts Payable and issue checks for disbursement.
· Process and reconcile corporate credit card statements.
· Learn to use customized financial software to produce accounting reports relating to cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable/receivable.
· Assist Human Resources Department with benefits enrollment, act as liaison for Health Savings Account administration through a local bank.
· Act as a backup to prepare purchase orders, as well as backup to ship and track orders.
· Act as a backup for Receptionist as needed.
· Work with the team to implement process improvement initiatives.
· Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
· High school graduate required; Associate degree in accounting/business administration preferred.
· 5 years of accounting experience involving a variety of duties.
· Good understanding of debits, credits, and overall accounting knowledge.
· Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office as well as more complex accounting software. Project based accounting software such as Costpoint, Unanet, or Procas a plus.
· General Office duties including file management, shipping/receiving and phones.
· Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing internal and external customer service.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
